Dual Pixel CMOS AF II is ultra-fast focusing with 5940 autofocus positions that cover 100% of the image area. Forget about blurring fast and unpredictably moving objects and create beautiful portraits with a shallow depth of field thanks to the face and eye recognition function.
The autofocus of this camera uses deep learning AI, which was first introduced in the innovative EOS-1D X Mark III camera. This allows the EOS R5 to recognize and track the face and eyes of an object with new accuracy indicators, even if you shoot it from the side. Tracking autofocus also recognizes dogs, cats and birds, providing accurate focus even when they are moving — this is the first of the EOS cameras with such a feature.
The EOS R5 camera uses a continuous Bluetooth connection with low power consumption for constant data exchange with mobile devices. Just open the Canon Camera Connect app so that the camera quickly connects to your smartphone via Wi-Fi - this connection will allow you to view and transfer images, as well as use remote shooting functions.
