Ceramic nanocrystals

Double ion exchange

Durability is good, but we also wanted to provide protection from scratches. Therefore, for Ceramic Shield, we use the double ion exchange process developed by us, which is used for the glass back panel: it provides excellent protection against cracks, scratches and other minor damages.

We have achieved such strength not only with the help of Ceramic Shield. The front panel is installed on the same level with the housing, which creates additional protection. As a result, the risk of damaging the iPhone when falling is reduced by 4 times. We have not had such significant improvements in just one year.

Deep Fusion technology helps with low and medium lighting levels. The Neural Engine system analyzes each pixel in several images with different exposures, so all the elements of the frame will be as detailed as possible.

Live Photos

In Smart HDR 3 mode, light and dark areas, as well as contours, are automatically corrected. This mode helps not only when taking portraits. Using machine learning, it recognizes various scenes, so it can emphasize the pattern of cracks on the ground and the rough surface of the hill, without increasing the noise level in the sky area.

Dolby Vision Video Shooting
